Our Introduction
Servant's Heart Fellowship is a church family that believes in grace. We
are constantly reminded of our need for God's grace - whether for salvation or
for simply taking our next breath! This church is made up of individuals
whose lives have been forever changed by grace. God's grace is the result
of His unquenchable love for sinners - people like you and me. His grace
is most clearly seen at the cross, where our Savior paid the ultimate price for
our forgiveness. It really is amazing grace! Everything you'll encounter
here at Servant's Heart Fellowship is connected to grace. We sing because
we are grateful for God's grace. We enjoy fellowship because we have
experienced His grace. We teach and preach that salvation is by God's
grace. Each Sunday, we come together to celebrate our wonderful Savior's
life-changing grace.
Our Local Ministry
Servant's Heart Fellowship supports or participates with several area organizations,
including United Communities ministries, and the local Pregnancy Care Center. We
also are purposefully involved in the activities of other local churches and firmly
believe in visible unity between different denominations. We partner with other
churches for ministry events and shared worship services for special occasions.
This intentional practice reminds us that we are just one part of Christ's “Church”
in the Rocky Mount area. We intend to be on the forefront of strongly promoting
unity, fellowship, and ministry among all believers in our community.
Our Church History
Although Servant's Heart Fellowship is currently a non-denominational church, we
originally were formed as a Baptist church. While we will always value this strong
heritage, our journey has led us to become a church family that remains strongly
evangelical yet embraces significant charismatic practices to our ministry.
Our Journey
At Servant's Heart Fellowship, you will encounter a variety of church influences that
we embrace as our fellowship has followed the Lord. We are committed to combining
valuable charismatic practices (biblically defined) with our steadfast commitment to
teach solid evangelical theology. Our desire is to be a strong church that preaches
the Word of God and is passionate about the Spirit of God. We believe both of these
are necessary for a healthy church.
Our Mission
Our mission is to bring glory to God! We believe the phrase, “to glorify God and enjoy
Him forever” is an excellent description of why we exist. We are passionate about the
glory of God here at Servant's Heart Fellowship. Therefore, we deliberately turn our
attention toward He who is worthy to receive honor and glory alone! Our motto is
simply: All For His Glory!
Our Worship
Our Sunday celebrations are always designed to thank God for what He has graciously done in
our lives. At Servant's Heart Fellowship the worship may include hymns, contemporary
praise songs, and Scripture readings. All of this is done to draw our attention exclusively
to the Lord - to Him be glory in the church! (Ephesians 3:21)
Our Message
Two words: the cross! We proclaim that salvation is by grace through faith alone in Jesus
Christ. Our preaching is focused upon the cross because we so firmly believe that this is
where God most clearly revealed His amazing love for us - by sending His own Son to die for our
sin, so that we can be forgiven and enjoy a relationship with Him!
